I’m still thinking about what to do. I’m 15. Right now I’m leaning towards youth ministry but still not 100% sure. I’m also open to any othe suggestions concering jobs in ministry.

if you become a missionary you and your family can be kilt
Neither, a religious job is ridiculous and you’ll most likely end up working in McDonald’s for the rest of your life. Grow up there is more to life than religion.
Pray on it. You’ll do whats best.
You’re only 15, you have time to continue praying about it. Don’t think that you’re stuck. You’ve got a while to decide.
And chances are, you might even go into a different ministry.
Just Pray, and continue to seek Him.
I think that is great that you are trying to do this
I think the world does need a lot of help right now though
But being a young minister is great as well
It is really your choice
You will know your calling eventually

Be a youth minister if you must be one or the other. That way you can preach to those who are already converted.
Wow, thats a great decision to make. I guess if you arent sure, just join a youth group and do your part to help out the community. Or, you can Altar Serve. You can also be a Eucharistic Minister, work in a Church Office and be a Sacristian (If you are of Catholic faith). You can also take part in World Youth Day.
I would say a youth minister because you are so young. You know exactly what the youth are talking about. Both great jobs, but you’ve got to listen to God on this one.
um. that’s gonna take a while to decide on that.
i majored in youth ministry in school for one year, then changed my major to christian contemporary music industry. AND THEN i change to majoring in computer science and minoring in japanese
trust me, you have plenty of time to think about it. and anyway, how are we supposed to know?! God’s the only one that knows lol.
You need God to tell you what he has called you to be.
Trying to guide your own life doesn´t work..
That is between you and God. Ask Him and He will lead you.
i depends on whether you would like to travel to see people and help them or help people up close! i know that i would LOVE a youth minister in my church! my minister is great now but she a has so much to do every night that i would love to have a youth minister at my church and start a youth group!
I think you should go with what you feel is best but in my opinion I would say missionary I have always wanted to do that
It’s preposterous order to teach first and learn after.

When thou art converted, then strengthen thy brethren.
You don’t need to decide right now. Give it some time and pray about it. There’ll be time enough to decide on your career path when you reach college.
I would suggest missionary, since you’re so young. A youth minister should have a little more maturity, IMHO. Of course, you could become a youth minister later, say maybe after you reach 30.
Either career is wonderful. I’ve done short-term missions and also worked with youth. Both ministries are very rewarding.
Allow the spirit within you to direct you through prayer.
When you have the confidence in your heart you will know what to do.

do a little thing called discernment. What do you like to do? What are you good at? Have others around you (friends, family) say you’d be a good fit for something? Because we don’t know you, we can’t give a good recommendation – only opinions.
Like – Be a janitor – the church always needs cleaning.
